Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has commented on the Congress' defeat in the recent Haryana assembly elections. She said that this defeat has dampened the morale a bit, but expressed confidence that the INDI Alliance will succeed in the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand. Speaking to India TV, Priyanka said that there should have been an alliance in Haryana, and it is necessary to consider why this did not happen.

Emphasis on INDI Alliance meeting

Priyanka Chaturvedi also said that INDIA meetings should be held from time to time. She said that this will maintain dialogue between all the parties and election strategies can be prepared in a better way. She believes that this is a necessary step to increase the strength of the alliance.

Selection of CM face before elections

Priyanka further said that her party is trying to decide the chief ministerial face of the alliance before the assembly elections in the state. She assured that her party will release the list of its candidates after Dussehra. This will make her party's position clear in the elections and the public will get a strong option.

Rahul Gandhi's statement on Savarkar

When Priyanka was asked about the attacks on Veer Savarkar by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, she said, "Rahul Gandhi does not speak on Veer Savarkar anymore." Priyanka also said that when Rahul had spoken about Savarkar earlier, objection was raised in the INDIA meeting. She assured that Rahul will not speak wrongly about Savarkar in future too.

Difference between issues of Maharashtra and Haryana

Earlier on Tuesday, Priyanka Chaturvedi had said that the Congress' defeat in the Haryana elections will have no impact on Maharashtra. She clarified that the election issues in Maharashtra and Haryana are very different. Priyanka also claimed that unlike the Congress' defeat in Haryana, the ruling alliance in Maharashtra, Mahayuti, is in power through "fraud".

The thinking of the people of Maharashtra

Priyanka said that the people of Maharashtra do not like the fact that the government has been formed by breaking two parties (Shiv Sena and NCP), due to which many political organizations have been formed. At present, the main contest in the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra will be between the Mahayuti of BJP + Shiv Sena + NCP and the Maha Vikas Aghadi of Congress + NCP (SP) + Shiv Sena (UBT).

Preparing for the elections

Priyanka Chaturvedi's statement is an indication that Shiv Sena (UBT) is planning to enter the electoral fray with full preparation. Her belief that the INDI Alliance will win the upcoming elections reflects her party's determination and confidence. During this time, Priyanka has emphasized on strengthening the alliance and making strategic plans in the elections. Priyanka Chaturvedi's statement makes it clear that her focus is on understanding the impact of the election results of Haryana, as well as working to strengthen her party's position in Maharashtra. She is seriously trying to keep her alliance united and win the upcoming elections. Now it remains to be seen how successful the INDI Alliance is in these elections.
