New Delhi: The Congress is fiercely opposed to three labour reform bills brought by the central government. The parliament had given the green signal to the three bills on Wednesday. Now the hurdles in closing the companies will be eliminated. Under the new provisions, companies with a maximum of 300 employees will be allowed to withdraw employees without the permission of the government. Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has termed it as "after farmers, its attack on labourers". Priyanka Gandhi said, the BJP government has made atrocities easier.

In a tweet, Lok Sabha MP from Congress, Rahul Gandhi said, "Exploitation of the poor, nurturing ' friends ' is just Modiji's rule. Congress national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has said, "There is a need for this difficult time not to get a job. Everyone's livelihood is safe. Look at the priority of the BJP government-the BJP government has now brought a law which has made it easier for employees to withdraw from their jobs.  Wow government, you made atrocity easier'

Let us tell you that the remaining three labour codes on industrial relations, social security and professional security were passed in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. Congress, left and some other opposition parties boycotted the proceedings of the upper house in protest against the suspension of eight MPs. The three codes were passed by the Lok Sabha on Tuesday and will now be sent for the president's signature.
