Lucknow: The Congress is trying to strengthen its political ground ahead of the 2022 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. The party is focusing on the structure, strength and campaigns of the organization on Mission 2022. In this connection, Congress national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi addressed the UP Congress executive meeting. In the meantime, Priyanka directed that all officials will be on a 20-day stay in UP.
In the meeting, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi also entrusted the responsibility to the office bearers and directed them to empower the organisation. Organization construction will be the primary responsibility of the office-bearers. The stay of office bearers will commence from 3rd January and will be in charge area to build the organization. The process of accelerating the organization creation campaign has begun. An official has been entrusted with the responsibility of a district in the meeting.
After the Lok Sabha debacle, Priyanka Gandhi took over the party's responsibility in UP and changed the entire organisation from top to bottom. Ground activist Ajay Kumar Lallu handed over the reins of the PCC. However, even after Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's command, Congress did not succeed in the recent by-election.
