Chandigarh: The Manohar Lal Khattar government of Haryana has canceled the license of a project of Robert Vadra. The BJP government has taken this action after 8 years of coming to power. The BJP government has canceled the real estate license of Skylight Hospitality Private Limited being built in Gurugram. In the year 2008, when the Congress government was in Haryana, this license was given to Robert Vadra. Now this action has been taken by the Director of Town and Country Planning, Haryana.

In the year 2012, Sky Light transferred this license to set up a commercial colony to DLF. Under the Real Estate Development License, one gets the right to set up a residential, commercial or industrial colony. A land deal in 2012 was in huge controversy. IAS Ashok Khemka had canceled the mutation of 3.35 acres of Skylight. At that time he was the Director General of the Consolidation Department. After this the matter was in the headlines.

In fact, when the BJP government was formed in Haryana in 2014, the license given to Robert Vadra's company by the Hooda government was fiercely under siege. Now the department has canceled the license. Now no construction work will be done on that land. Actually, the Hooda government of Congress had given this land to Robert Vadra at a very cheap price, but later it was sold to DLF at a high price.
