'Priyanka came to meet in jail..,' Rajiv Gandhi murder convict Nalini's big disclosure

New Delhi: Nalini Sriharan, one of the convicts released in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, on Sunday made some big revelations. She said Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had come to meet her in jail in 2008. During this, she questioned about the assassination of her father Rajiv Gandhi. Replying to a question on the meeting, Nalini said Priyanka Gandhi got emotional and cried when she met her at Vellore Central Jail a decade ago.

According to the report, Priyanka Vadra had sought to know about her father's murder during her meeting with Nalini. Nalini said she told her everything she knew. It said other things in the meeting could not be disclosed as it pertained to Priyanka's personal views. Nalini was released on November 12 following a Supreme Court order.

After her release from jail, Ravichandran said north Indians should treat her as a victim rather than a terrorist. However, time to come will definitely understand them. On the other hand, after being released from jail in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, Nalini was asked whether she would meet Sonia Gandhi. On this, Nalini first got shocked and then said- Oh God, please not.
