Udaipur: An atmosphere of panic was created due to the accident on Saturday night on the Udaipur-Ahmedabad railway line, which started 13 days ago at the hands of PM Narendra Modi. Prima facie an accident has happened in an attempt to uproot the railway track and gunpowder has also been found on the spot. In fact, there is also a mining area around the spot. Police and railway officials have started an investigation. The sound of the train is blocked from both sides of the incident site. 

Due to the alertness of the local villagers, a major accident was averted on this new route. According to the sources, the incident took place late Saturday night on the Salumber Marg on the Odha railway bridge in Kevde ki Naal. Here at 10 o'clock last night, the people of the village heard the sound of an explosion. Thereafter, some youths immediately reached the track. Everyone was surprised to see the condition there. He told that gunpowder was lying on the railway line. It seems like a conspiracy has been hatched to blow up the railway bridge. 

The tracks have been broken at many places. Nut bolts were also found missing from the line on the bridge. A thin sheet of iron was also found crumpled on the track. Confirming the incident, Udaipur Superintendent of Police Vikas Sharma said that the FSL team is on the spot. The exact position will be known only after the investigation. Public Relations Officer of Railway Ajmer Division Ashok Chauhan told that the incident has happened. The investigation is on. Trains have been stopped on both sides of the spot. Chouhan informed that the work of repairing the line is going on by the Railways. At present, the Ahmedabad Asarwa train will operate from Dungarpur to Asarwa only. Udaipur-Asarwa train leaves every day at 5 PM. Which reaches Aasarwa at 11 pm. Similarly, Asarva-Udaipur leaves daily at 6:30 am and reaches Udaipur City station at 12:30 pm.
