The rising number of COVID and Omicron cases in the country is a constant cause of worry. According to reports, similar figures are alarming in West Bengal as well. In the meanwhile, a slew of Bengali celebrities have tested positive in recent days. Sourav Ganguly, the BCCI President and presenter of Dadagiri Unlimited Season 9, director Srijit Mukherjee, singer-composer Jeet Ganguly, actors Parno Mittra and Chitrangada, and many more have recently tested positive for the virus. Parno has tested positive for the virus for the second time.

Susanta Das, a director and producer, has now tested positive for COVID. He's been preoccupied with the filming of a number of current and upcoming shows.He had a fever, sore throat, bodily soreness, and other symptoms, according to sources. Susanta, who was on an outdoor schedule at the time, quarantined himself right away. He completed the requisite tests, and the results indicated that Susanta had caught the virus, according to the medical report.

He has asked that anybody who has recently come into touch with him be tested. Susatna is presently in home isolation and in contact with her doctor on a regular basis. He's now working on the Bengali TV series 'Krishnakoli' and 'Uma,' as well as the Hindi daily serial 'Rishton Ka Manjha,' a replica of his successful show 'Deep Jwele Jai.'
