Islamabad: A huge protest is being organized in front of Karachi Press Club on Sunday against the forced conversion of girls from minority communities in Pakistan. The protesters have alleged that the police is arresting the protesting Hindus by making false accusations of anti-national activities instead of catching them.

A large number of social activists, including people from the Hindu community, participated in protests outside the Karachi Press Club on January 26 to protest against alleged incidents such as the forced abduction of minority girls in Pakistan, The News International reported. The report said that the protesters alleged that the most recent incident of forced conversion was that of a 15-year-old Hindu girl, Mahek Kumari, who went missing on 16 January.

Let us tell you that the Mahek is from Jacobabad. A protestor told the media that, "Her family says that a Muslim community's influential person has kidnapped her and converted her. She has been forcibly converted to Islam at Shirpur Dargah Amarot Sharif and molested him. "
