Puducherry: A video of Puducherry health minister Malladi Krishna Rao is going viral on the internet, people are praising this video. In fact, Rao had reached government hospital after the complaint of poor maintenance of the toilet. After seeing the filth here, he himself cleaned up it.
The minister, who is fighting against Corona infection was receiving complaints from relatives of the patients of the infection that the toilet at the Indira Gandhi Government Medical College Hospital in Kadirkamam is not clean. On Saturday, during a surprise inspection with the team of Health Department officials, the minister himself saw poor maintenance with his eyes and he swung into action for cleaning. The minister put on personal safety equipment and started cleaning there. His video of cleaning the toilet goes viral on social media.
Seeing the minister cleaning up, a scavenger reached there and requested the minister to give her the brush and said that she would do the cleaning. Rao visits the hospital regularly so that there is no room for lack of service. At the same time, the Puducherry Health Department said that 550 new corona infection cases have been reported in Puducherry on Saturday. With this, 12 people have also died in the Union Territory. With this, the total number of corona infection cases in the Union Territory is 13,556. Out of which 4,834 are active cases.
