Kannada film superstar Puneeth Rajkumar is no longer in this world. He died of cardiac arrest on Friday, October 29. His demise proved to be a major setback not only for the industry but also for the common people. His death is currently in silence in South India. Puneeth Rajkumar is the most popular actor in Kannada films. He was the son of Rajlumar. Puneeth was not only a great actor but he was a very hearty and good person.

From cow feeding to raising orphans and not listening to a word about religion, Puneeth Rajkumar has been at the forefront. All of you will be surprised to know that Puneeth Rajkumar used to run 46 orphanages, 19 gaushalas and 16 old age homes. He was the Messiah of the poor and everything he had for orphans. No matter how much praises Puneeth Rajkumar's work, it is few. Let me tell you that Puneeth Rajkumar had also donated Rs.50 lakhs to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund and wanted to educate all the girls by emphasizing girl child education. Puneeth Rajkumar had adopted about 1800 orphans for whom he was everything.

Puneeth was an anchor on the Kannada show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' and once the organisers put objectionable questions on Hinduism, he stopped the show itself. Puneeth Rajkumar was not only ahead in acting but also a topper in singing. Many times he had collected money for charity by singing.

Puneeth Rajkumar had a deep faith in religion and did not hear a word against Hinduism. Not only that, but even after death Puneeth did good work, he donated his eyes. It is sad for all of us to lose an actor who has done so well. Puneeth Rajkumar's last rites will be performed on Sunday, October 31, though before that his fans are arriving to pay obeisance to him which is not thousands but millions.
