Suresh Kumar, Chief Principal Secretary (CPS) of Punjab CM has done a surprising job. In which he returned his government car and security on Tuesday morning. After which the discussion of him resigning from his post has started. However, no one has given an official statement on this yet.

It is being speculated that Suresh was feeling ignored in the CMO after the appointment of the new Chief Secretary Vini Mahajan. It is also believed that Suresh Kumar now wants to go into the field of teaching again. He has received a fellowship from Oxford University and he has made up his mind to accept. Suresh Kumar, who has a considerable influence in the Punjab government, resigned last time after being upset by the internal pull of the CMO. After which, CM Captain Amarinder Singh himself went to his residence, and he later returned to the office.  Suresh Kumar visited the Chief Minister on Monday evening at his residence.

What happened in this discussion is not known. But on Tuesday morning, Suresh Kumar has returned the government facilities. It is being speculated that he has sent his resignation to the Chief Minister by post. Significantly, a few months ago Suresh Kumar vacated his office at CMO in Punjab Civil Secretariat, and he was working from home for quite some time. Some officers of CMO believe that Suresh Kumar's name comes from the most trusted officers of the Chief Minister for the last 3 years.
