The confrontation between Chief Secretary Karan Avtar Singh and Punjab cabinet ministers amid the lockdown and the Corona transition is not subsiding. During the Punjab Cabinet meeting on Monday, the ministers left all the responsibility to resolve the matter to Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, but the whole matter has caught up to the extent that Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal spoke to reporters after the meeting. He even said that if Karan Avtar Singh comes to the meeting, then he will not take part in that meeting.

For your information, let us tell you that some such attitude was also with Cabinet Minister Charanjit Singh Channi. Meanwhile, in Monday's cabinet meeting, Satish Chandra replaced Cabinet Secretary in place of Karan Avatar Singh. However, it was said on behalf of the government that Karan Avtar Singh had taken permission for half-day leave from the Chief Minister, due to which he was not present in the meeting.

In his statement, the Finance Minister said that the attitude of the Chief Secretary has been such that the cabinet has no importance in front of him. He said that in the meeting he has proposed that if the Chief Secretary Karan Avtar Singh is involved in the cabinet meeting, then he will not attend it. On the other hand, Charanjeet Singh Channi also said that he too will not attend the cabinet meeting. It is learned that, sensing this attitude of the ministers, in the Cabinet meeting, finally the Chief Minister had to ask that you record your statement. On this, all the ministers registered their statement regarding the Chief Secretary, on which the Chief Minister said that they will now see the matter themselves.
