Very soon Cova application will be able to detect the number of beds available in government and private hospitals in Punjab. Which hospital has how many beds for the treatment of corona. Information about this can also be obtained from this app. Patients recovering from corona will also be able to express their willingness to donate plasma with the help of this app.
Chief Secretary Vini Mahajan said that Cova App has proved very beneficial for the people of the state during Corona. He said that so far 50 lakh registrations have been done on Cova App. This figure is also increasing. For online OPD in government hospitals of Punjab, it has been linked with e-Sanjeevani and so far more than 1300 opinions have been made.
Cova app also has an option for migrant workers, register to go to their home state and book a train ticket. Information about facilities such as providing grocery, essential commodities in their areas has been shared with the citizens. They can also book groceries online. The Cova application system is proving helpful in dealing with police coming to Punjab or those going from Punjab.
