According to a statement from Ather Energy, they have begun selling the 450X Gen 3 electric scooter on Flipkart. Ravneet Phokela, a chief business officer at Ather Energy, disclosed this information. It is an experimental initiative that is only operating in New Delhi at the moment. According to Ravneet, they plan to extend their collaboration with Flipkart to further cities. The timeline hasn't yet been made public, though.

In September 2022, Ather Energy announced a year-over-year increase of 247%. Additionally, 4 new experience centres have been opened by them in Ranchi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Rajkot. With 55 experience centres, Ather is already present in 45 cities. With a 34% market share, Ather was also Kerala's top two-wheeler EV producer. The 450X has already produced its 50,000th unit, and the maker is constantly expanding its distribution network.

In the Indian market, Ather Energy currently sells two electric scooters. 450 Plus and 450X are available. The 450 Plus has an 85 km TrueRange and accelerates from 0 to 40 kilometres per hour in 3.9 seconds. Its maximum power output is 5.4 kW, and its maximum torque production is 22 Nm.

The 450X can reach 40 kmph in 3.3 seconds and has a true range of 105 km. It features a peak torque output of 26 Nm and a maximum power output of 6.2 kW. Ola S1 Pro, TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, and Simple Energy One are competitors of Ather 450X.
