Police officials said that the deceased has been identified as Shamim Ansari, while his friend is Asmal Ansari, who is the culprit of the crime. Shamim liked Aslam's girlfriend. In his statement to the police, Asmal said his girlfriend was growing close to Shamim, which angered him.

According to the police, the two were childhood friends and used to meet daily and share many things with each other. The fights between the two started recently when Shamim had a feeling for Aslam's girlfriend. Shamim had more than 5 girlfriends. Aslam said he was never serious about any of his girlfriends. Aslam had asked Shamim to distance him from her. Shamim did not take this seriously. On which there was a fight between the two. When Shamim agreed to Aslam's words, he also warned that he would cut his private part so that he was of no use. On Sunday night, when the two were partying in a hotel room, a fight broke out again over Aslam's girlfriend. In a fit of rage, Aslam thrashed Shamim and stabbed him in the eye and attacked nine other parts of the body. He then chopped off Shamim's genitals and stuffed it in his mouth. After regaining consciousness, he fled from the spot. A crime branch official said, ''We came to know about the incident when Shamim's employee reached the hotel in the morning.'' After the investigation of the case, it was found that Aslam was with Shamim at night. After rigorous interrogation, Aslam confessed his crime.
