Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal starrer 'Raazi' is raking in the top spot at the box office this weekend. However film was off to a sturdy start on Friday with a collection of Rs 7.53 crore but has marked a big heighten of 50% in its Saturday’s collection recording a total of Rs 11 .30 crore.

Now Raazi’s two-day total stood with an impressive Rs 18.83 crore.

The spying suspenseful story directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Junglee Pictures and Dharma Productions, has already registered itself into the record books for a Hindi film in 2018 as the fifth highest opening movie.

Raazi got high critic ratings coupled with a fascinating story as well as mouth publicity. The film’s collections are likely to grow even more in the upcoming days. Set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pak war in 1971, Alia portrays the role of an Indian espionage girl who marries off a Pakistani Army officer (Vicky) to spy for her country by her father.

Raazi has been also acclaimed by the B-town stars like Rajkummar Hirani, Abhishek Bachchan, Jackky Bhagnani, Mouni Roy, Vidyut Jammwal, among many others their social networking handles. All of them praised the film and the performances of the cast.

Alia's father and renowned director and producer Mahesh Bhatt also took to his Twitter handle and stated that ‘Raazi’ is his daughter's career-best performance till the date.
