Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan pays tribute to Sidhu Moosewala

During his show in the United States, Pakistani artist Rahet Fateh Ali Khan paid tribute to Sidhu Moosewala on the first anniversary of the Punjabi singer's death. Several videos of the musician performing at one of his performances in Oakland, California, have surfaced online. The audience erupted in cheers as he stated that he would pay tribute to the late artist. 

In a video, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is saying, "Yeh abhi jo qawwali pesh karne jaraha hoon main, yeh Sidhu Moosewala ko yaad karte huye karna chahunga." 

Reacting to the video fans said, "Music transcends all barriers." Another fan wrote "One legend to another legend pays tribute to @iSidhuMooseWala in his live concert! Huge respect for @RFAKWorld! Sending you loads and loads of love from India." 

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has sung numerous songs in both Pakistan and India over the last few decades. Mann ki lagan, Jiya dhadak dhadak, Bol na halke halke, and Dagabaaz re are among the Bollywood songs he has sang.

On May 29, last year, Sidhu, whose true name was Shubhdeep Singh, was shot dead by six gunmen in Jawahar Ke village in Punjab's Mansa district. His unusual style and strong words charmed audiences worldwide. With songs like So High, Same Beef, The Last Ride, Just Listen, and 295, the singer-rapper gained a cult following in India as well.
