According to the media report, during the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting on the corona virus epidemic, Rahul said in his remarks that the central government has adopted the technique of low test, but the testing of people should be extended. Also, he cited the example of two other countries fighting the Coronavirus, which insisted on mass testing. Rahul Gandhi told Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot that tests should be done at random in the state as it has more number of tourists. He has also specifically mentioned Ajmer district, where there is a large crowd of foreigners.
