Bengaluru: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi stated on Saturday that the country is stealing its daughters' futures by letting the hijab come in the way of their education

He stated the goddess Saraswati does not discriminate and imparts wisdom to all, in support of hijab-wearing Muslim girl students being denied admittance to educational institutes in Karnataka. "By allowing students' hijab to obstruct their education, we are robbing India's females of their future.

Ma Saraswati imparts knowledge to everyone. She doesn't make any distinctions. #SaraswatiPuja, "Gandhi expressed himself on Twitter. Saraswati is known as the goddess of learning. Saraswati Puja, also known as Basant Panchami, is a Hindu festival that commemorates the beginning of spring. On Saturday, the country will commemorate it.

In Karnataka, the hijab row has turned into a significant topic. Six pupils attended courses wearing headscarves in contravention of the clothing rule in classrooms at the government girls' pre-university (PU) college in Udupi in early January.

K’taka Hijab Row: Won’t permit ‘Talibanisation’ of education system, says BJP Chief

'If you want hijab, go to madrasas and if you want Sharia, then Pak..,' said BJP MP on Karnataka dispute

'If Hijab is necessary for education, Rahul Gandhi should make it mandatory in Congress-ruled states'
