Patna: Flood situation has been prevailing in most districts of Bihar for the past several days due to heavy rains. Former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi has expressed condolences to the flood affected families. At the same time, he has appealed to Congress leaders and workers to cooperate in relief work. Rahul Gandhi tweeted on Wednesday that "My thoughts to the flood affected families of Bihar, this disaster is a major tragedy in the time of corona epidemic. On the other hand, the water level of Old Gandak in Muzaffarpur is continuously rising. The river water has increased by 35 cm in the last 24 hours. The river water is visible about a meter below the danger mark. Flood water has entered the lower reaches of some places, making things worse. The Bagmati river has picked up pace again. This has greatly affected the lives of the people.
