Rahul jumped 'sinking' Congress ship instead of saving it: Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Mumbai: Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and BJP National Vice President Shivraj Singh Chouhan has once again lashed out at Congress President Rahul Gandhi, which is going viral. Addressing a meeting on BJP's membership drive 2019 in Mumbai on Thursday, he said, "When a ship sinks, its captain stays up to the end, but the Congress is a sinking ship whose captain wants to run first."

Rahul Gandhi's pain on the hard-fought defeat, still says, "resign...Resignation...

Addressing BJP workers and leaders, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, "You would not know today who president of Congress is. We heard that when any ship is sinking, it's the captain who stays on till the end to save it. But, the captain is the one who jumped first from the Congress's ship."

Alpesh Thakor's statement stirred up turmoil, saying, "The Congress is not there yet..."

Apart from all this, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, "BJP will launch a 35-day long special membership drive from next month to expand its base in the country which will start on 6th July and will continue till 11th august. The BJP's unprecedented victory in the last Lok Sabha elections is attributed to the strategy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and National President Amit Shah and the party's best is yet to come, so the central leadership decided to expand the organisation in the country. Shivraj Chouhan further said that "the name of the campaign is 'Sanghganthan Parva'."
