New Delhi: Former deputy CM Sachin Pilot, accused of trying to topple the Ashok Gehlot government of Rajastan and rebel with the Congress party, has now sought time to meet former Congress president Rahul Gandhi. According to sources, Pilot, along with 18 MLAs rebelling from the Congress party, has sought time to meet Rahul Gandhi, but did not receive any positive reply from Rahul. It is being told that Pilot has not yet been given time by Rahul Gandhi office.

Rajasthan Congress president Govind Singh Dotasara and state in-charge Avinash Pandey have clarified the party's stand on Pilot camp on Sunday itself. There was a demand in the MLA meeting to take action against the Pilot camp. However, after this, except the Pilot camp, the MLAs who returned to Congress, again welcomed the statements of the party. But now there is no speculation about Rahul Gandhi not being given time till now that the doors of Rajasthan Congress have been closed forever for Sachin Pilot.

It is being told that an attempt was made to convince Sachin Pilot on behalf of veteran leaders and high command of the Congress last month. But for the past one month, the high command has now created a mood to close the door for the return of Pilot.
