Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) founder and patron Mulayam Singh Yadav will be cremated at his village Saifai at 3 pm today. Mulayam's ancestral house in Saifai has been inundated with leaders, workers and his supporters since yesterday. At the same time, the body of former Uttar Pradesh CM Mulayam Singh Yadav is being taken to the Mela Ground pandal in Saifai for the last darshan, where people are thronging to see him on the way.

According to the information, his body will be kept for the last darshan till 2 pm. Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot arrives in Saifai to attend Mulayam Singh Yadav's funeral. Apart from this, all the veterans from all over the country will also reach Saifai today, where many helipads and waterproof pandals have been built. At the same time, strong security arrangements have also been made before the arrival of the leaders. Mulayam Singh Yadav passed away on Monday. At the age of 82, he breathed his last at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also attend Mulayam's funeral. Apart from this, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will also reach Saifai along with former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra, who is touring Bharat Jodo Yatra. A three-day state mourning has been declared in Uttar Pradesh on the death of Mulayam Singh Yadav.
