Government of India’s unpreparedness regarding coronavirus vaccine is alarming: Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: Former Congress National President and MP from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat of Kerala, Rahul Gandhi accused of no indication of proper and overall strategy and no preparations from the government for access to the Coronavirus vaccine in the country. He has said on Thursday that it is dangerous.

Rahul Gandhi tweeted from his official Twitter handle, writing that, "A fair and inclusive COVID vaccine access strategy should have been in place by now. But there are still no signs of it. GOI’s unpreparedness is alarming."Significantly, the day before, Rahul Gandhi said that the government should work on the use of the corona virus vaccine, its distribution should be done right now".

A record 75,760 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in the country in a day. After which, on Thursday, the total number of patients infected with the coronavirus increased to 33,10,234. Across the country, the number of people who lost their lives due to coronavirus infection has increased to 60,472.
