State Minster of Khadi and Village Industries Siddharth Nath Singh's statement has come at this time. When the Allahabad High Court, in view of the increasing cases of COVID-19 infection in the state, in its remarks on Tuesday, the state had asked for a 15-day lockdown. High Court bench of Justice Siddharth Verma and Justice Ajit Kumar had said, "When we have to strike a balance between livelihood and life, it is necessary to live life." Food is essential for living, not life for food. We do not think that by putting a lockdown for a fortnight, the economy of the state will reach such a situation that people will start starving. ”

However, on the court's comment, the minister said, "I have not yet read the order of the High Court. If the court has said something like this, the government will consider it. ” The minister inaugurated 47 roads constructed at a cost of Rs six crore 41 lakh in his assembly constituency city Western at Circuit House here. Also, on the court system in the state, the minister said that according to the National Crime Records Bureau, crimes like robbery and rape have decreased drastically in the last three years in UP. Law and order has become better than before. With this, the Yogi government has kept its word.
