New Delhi: The opposition is constantly targeting the Modi government at the Centre over the increasing number of black fungus or Mucormycosis cases in the country. Black fungus cases in the country have now increased to 8,848 and so far many people have died due to this fungus. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has once again slammed the Modi government over the same issue.

Rahul Gandhi has blamed the 'Modi system' for the increasing black fungus cases amid corona infection in the country. He tweeted, 'It is because of the misrule of the Modi system that there is a corona as well as a black fungus epidemic in India'. He said that not only is there a shortage of corona vaccine (Corona Vaccine), but now there is a huge shortage of this new epidemic drug. The Congress leader took a dig at PM Modi and said, "The Prime Minister must be announcing clapping to fight this (Black Fungus).

On the other hand, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi expressed concern over the lack of availability of corona vaccine in the country and appealed to PM Narendra Modi to get people vaccinated without delay. Sharing a news item about the vaccine shortage claims in several districts of the country, he tweeted, "Modiji, get (people) vaccinated. Don't be late'.
