New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has once again targeted the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh over the Hathras issue. He has released a video on Hathras' case saying that the culprits should be put in jail and the family should be protected which the Yogi government is not doing.

In a tweet on Monday on the Hathras incident, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi wrote, "The government's attitude in Hathras incident is inhuman and immoral. They are engaged in protecting the culprits instead of helping the aggrieved family. Let us raise the voice against the injustice being done to women across the country-a step towards change". Rahul said in the video, "A few days ago, I went to Hathras. I was stopped while going."

He further said, "For the first time I was arrested. The second time I went. I did not understand the point. What's going to stop me? Why am I not being allowed to meet with the family of the victim? Their daughter was murdered, was raped, why am I being prevented? As soon as I arrived inside the house, as soon as I started talking to the family, the government started attacking the victims."
