Rahul Gandhi slams Modi govt over the deaths during the farmers movement

New Delhi: Amid the Corona crisis, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi tweeted about the death of peasants in the farmers' movement. In a tweet, he hit out at the Modi government and wrote, "Farmers have died in defense of the country and the farmer is not afraid of anything, the farmers are true even today". He said more than 500 annadatas have died in the agitation so far.

 

 

The movement of farmers of Punjab, Haryana and UP is going on the border (Tikri, Singhu and Ghazipur) of Delhi-NCR demanding repeal of the same three agricultural laws. Opposition parties are with farmers. Rahul Gandhi said that 500 farmers have died so far due to the agitation. Rahul Gandhi tweeted that farmers are being killed daily in the field and security of the country. Yet they are not afraid and is constantly fighting.

Farmers from Punjab and Haryana has been stuck on the Delhi border for several months. Similarly, 32 years ago, farmers attacked the Boat Club in Delhi and brought Delhi to a standstill. The farmers are once again determined that they are not going to withdraw unless the Government withdraws the law. The Central Government had introduced 3 new Agriculture Bills in the month of September, which have now become laws after the President's order.
