Union Minister Uma Bharti said that PM Modi is a true follower of Mahatma Gandhi's footprints. She attacked the Congress and said that Gandhi in the Congress family came from Feroz Gandhi, not Mahatma Gandhi. Firoz did not have good relations with Jawaharlal Nehru. They did not have the right to use Gandhi surname, but they thought that this Gandhi word would give them respect, so they got it attached to their name. Only Modi Ji is a person who follows Mahatma Gandhi's footsteps.

Uma Bharti said these things while pointing to Indira Gandhi's marriage with Feroz Gandhi. This is not the first time that Uma Bharti attacked Congress. Especially on the members of the Gandhi family, they have been targeted even earlier. Earlier on April 16, she had targeted Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi. 

Uma Bharti called Priyanka Gandhi and her husband Robert Vadra an accused of theft. She said, tearing up Priyanka Gandhi, "How will the people see them, whose husbands are in charge of theft. Hindustan will see them in the same way, as they see a thief wife.”
