Balasore: The Central Government has been constantly monitoring the incident since the accident in Balasore, Odisha late Friday evening. From union ministers to officers,  the number of dead and injured has been continuously increased and the vigil on the spot has increased even more. As a result, the track has been repaired and the line has been restarted at the place where the accident took place in Balasore late Sunday night. Earlier, it was said that it would take time till Wednesday to start this main line. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw himself was present on the spot. When the first train passed through the track, Vaishnav folded his hands in front of it.  

According to reports, Railway Minister Vaishnaw had reached the site of the incident in Balasore within 12 hours of the train accident. Since then, Vaishnav has been engaged in work in Odisha. Here he has met the railway track repairs and the injured in the hospital and has also issued orders to investigate the incident. Talking to reporters after the track was made operational late Sunday night, Vaishnaw said, "Our responsibility is not over yet. Our goal is that we can find the missing people with their families as soon as possible." 

The Railway Minister also flagged off the goods train passing through the track after the opening of the track and was also seen praying for its safe journey. He has said that the work of repairing the track started only after the order of PM Modi. The Prime Minister had advised to complete it as soon as possible. The team engaged in the repair of which worked hard and wisely and started both the up and down lines within 51 hours of the incident.  

The train left at 10.40 pm, the Railway Minister flagged off; The first train left at around 10.40 pm on Sunday, 51 hours after the horrific accident in Odisha's Balasore, a section of the accident-hit section,  reports said. Officials have released this information. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw flagged off the goods train and several media persons and railway officials were also present. The goods train was on its way from Visakhapatnam port to Rourkela Steel Plant and was running on the same track where the train accident took place on Friday.
