New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in its latest forecast has expressed the possibility of rain in parts of Punjab, Haryana, and western Uttar Pradesh between January 11-14 amid a severe cold wave in North India. At the same time, snowfall has also been predicted in the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh on January 11 and 12. Due to this, the possibility of taking a turn in the weather has increased.

The Meteorological Department also said that due to the Western Disturbance, the minimum temperature is expected to increase by 2-4 degrees Celsius over the plains of Northwest India for the next two days. Due to this, cold wave conditions are expected to improve over these areas during the next 3 days. After the 14th, there will be a change in the weather again. The Meteorological Department has informed that from the morning of the 14th, dense fog is expected in different areas of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar during night and morning.

On the other hand, talking about today's forecast, cold day conditions are expected in various parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar on January 11. Cold wave conditions are likely to abate from today.
