New Delhi: The national capital May have got relief from the cold wave for a few days, but due to pollution, the condition of Delhi-NCR is bad. The Air Quality Index (AQI) in many areas of the capital has gone from very poor to a severe category. Apart from Delhi-NCR, many areas of Bihar are also forced to breathe toxic air. According to central pollution control board (CPCB) data, Delhi was the most polluted city in the country in the year 2022. While 3 districts of Bihar also figured in the list of the top 10 polluted cities.

In the national capital Delhi today, January 11, the Anand Vihar area recorded an AQI of 378 around 11 am, which falls in the very poor category. Whereas, AQI 295 was recorded in the Ashok Vihar area, which falls in the poor category. AQI 268 was recorded in the IGI Airport area. Whereas, AQI 420 was recorded in the ITO area, which falls in the severe category. AQI 343 was recorded in the Dwarka Sector-8 area.

Let me tell you that, like Delhi, Bihar is also in a bad condition due to pollution. AQI has reached the very poor category in many cities of Bihar. Begusarai in Bihar recorded an AQI of 393 around 11 am, which falls in the very poor category. AQI 477 was registered at Samanpura in Patna, which falls in the critical category. AQI 348 was recorded in Darbhanga. Katihar recorded an AQI of 401. The AQI in Chhapra was recorded at 357. Siwan recorded AQI 355.
