Shweta Bachchan Nanda, who is the daughter of Amitabh Bachchan, allegedly suffered the loss of her father-in-law, Rajan Nanda, who was also the Chairman of Escorts Group.
Shri Rajan Nanda was married to the daughter of Showman Raj Kapoor, Ritu Nanda.

Ridhima Kapoor, the sister of Ranbir Kapoor and the daughter of Rishi and Neetu Kapoor reached her official Twitter page and posted about the demise of her Uncle.

She wrote, "You were are & will always be a legend! Thank you for all the love always - will miss you so much uncle - until we meet again RIP uncle Rajan.”

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan also reached his official Twitter page and expressed his gratitude towards his fans who had expressed their condolences for the sad demise of Shri Nanda.

Rajan Nanda and Ritu Nanda have two children, Nikhil and Natasha Nanda.

Nikhil Nanda is the husband of Shweta Bachchan Nanda and also the Managing Director of Escorts Limited.
The Escorts Group is an Indian engineering firm that was headed by late Rajan Nanda and worked in the field of agri-machinery, construction and material handling equipment, and railway equipment.

Amitabh Bachchan retweeted the posts of some fans and thanked them.
