Bharatpur: On Friday, a minor student committed suicide in the hostel of Kala Vidya Mandir School, run under the Devnarayan scheme, at Nadbai in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan. The body of the minor has been kept for post mortem in the mortuary of District RBM Hospital. On receiving the information about the incident, the Nadbai police station reached Morchery and called the girl's family and took information about the incident.

The deceased student Ankita Meena was a resident of Dhanoda village of Bari in Dholpur district. Ankita was studying at Kala Mandir School and was staying in the hostel of the school. Suddenly she committed suicide on Friday. Her body was found hanging in a hostel room. As soon as the teachers were aware of this incident, she went to the district RBM Hospital in Bharatpur with Ankita, but the doctors declared the girl dead, after which the child's body has been kept in the mortuary.

Congress leader Himanshu Katara, the director of the school, did not inform anyone regarding the matter, but the police control room was informed about the incident on behalf of the hospital. After this, the Nadbai police station reached the Morchari and called the girl's family members. A post-mortem of the girl's body will be done on Saturday.
