Museum of Legacies

An alternative museum in a building that dates back to 1825, this is an initiative by the Government of Rajasthan to provide a platform to showcase previously unseen private collections. One can view everything from textiles and jewellery to paintings and sculptures here.

Gyana Museum

The museum is a tribute to Late Mr. Gyan Chand Dhaddha. It has varieties of Textiles, Mughal Rugs depicting the entire hunting scene- the rarest! The then prevalent playing cards, Silver Hukkas, Gorgeous Gemstones, Vintage Spectacles, Paintings of 19th century and older, the rarest inscriptions and everything else in between all showcased in the gallery.

Anokhi Museum houses the world's best block painting garments and is a cultural endeavor of Anokhi clothing brand. This museum exhibits the oldest art form of Rajasthani art at its very best. Detailed explanation about every cloth is mentioned along with the quality of fabric and various other details. Anokhi Museum holds a UNESCO certification and houses more than a hundred garments. The main purpose of this museum is to promote the oldest art form of Rajasthan. Bharatiya Lok Kala Museum

Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum is famous for having a rare collection of articles in the museum. It is located in the building of Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal in Udaipur.  This rare compilation varies from typical rural-dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, folk musical instruments, folk deities, and paintings. Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal is started to encourage rich local arts and crafts of Mewar region of Rajasthan. The local handicrafts and things of the art of the Mewar region is world-famous and attracted lots of tourism.
