New Delhi: The Gehlot government has imposed a complete ban on bursting and selling all types of crackers in Rajasthan from October 1 to January 31, 2022. The home department issued an order in this regard on Thursday. The government's decision comes in the wake of the problem faced by patients due to the corona epidemic.

The order said many experts have indicated an increase in corona infection cases and a third wave. Now, due to the festive season, large scale celebrations by bursting firecrackers will not only violate the guidelines of social distancing but also high levels of air pollution will lead to serious health issues in Delhi. The order further stated that, in view of the important relationship between air pollution and respiratory infections, bursting crackers under the corona crisis is not conducive to large community health. Last year also, people with corona were banned from fireworks due to possible respiratory disorders caused by air pollution due to fireworks.

Now this year too, the corona has banned the sale and running of all kinds of fireworks. The ban will continue from October 1 to January 31, 2022. Recently, the Delhi Pollution Control Committee has imposed a complete ban on bursting and selling all types of crackers in the capital of Delhi till January 1, 2022. The decision was taken in view of the extreme levels of possible pollution during Diwali in the winter season, especially in the national capital.
