Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given instructions to complete the pending recruitment procedures in many government departments soon and issue new advertisements for the existing vacancies soon. Gehlot gave this instruction in the second review meeting on Monday for the position of vacancies and in-process recruitments in several departments in the CM office. In the meeting, he said that the Rajasthan Public Service Commission and the Staff Selection Board should work with promptness to give the youth of the state the opportunity of making appointments to vacant posts in many departments of the state government. He said that waiting for several months for appointments is an injustice to the youth.

CM suggested that for the RAS recruitment examination, the recruitment calendar should be issued by Rajasthan Public Service Commission on the lines of Union Public Service Commission so that appointments to administrative posts are not delayed. He said that due to pending litigation in many courts, recruitment on 18 thousand 458 posts is pending. At the same time, to fulfill these recruitments as soon as possible, try to get these cases resolved by the Honorable Court with the cooperation of the Advocate General of the State Government. He said that this will pave the way for the appointment of selected candidates for these posts.
