Jaipur: An atmosphere of chaos was created due to the collapse of the lift of a hotel in Rajasthan's capital Jaipur. According to the information received, more than 10 people of the same family were in the lift during the fall, where the lift fell down from the first floor. At the same time, after the incident, there was a scream all around and people started shouting for help. It is being told that the whole incident took place in Jaipur's Gandhi Path, where the incident took place around 11 pm on Saturday. At the same time, the police registered a case regarding this incident late on October 30.

According to the report, the victims were trapped in the lift for about an hour and the police kept denying assistance citing the area. At the same time, after the incident, the people trapped in the lift informed the Vaishali Nagar police station, but the victims alleged that the police refused to help as a case of Karni Vihar area. After this, the victims informed the police control about the incident, after which a police team and civil defence people reached the spot.

At the same time, while being trapped in the lift for more than an hour, the hotel staff could not help in any way and waited for the civil defence to arrive. After this, the civil defence team lifted the lift after about one and a half hours of hard work and rescued the people trapped in the lift. After the incident, the victims filed a case of negligence against the hotel at Karni Vihar police station. In the complaint, the hotel management has been accused of not maintaining the lift.
