New Delhi: Dr. Rajendra Prasad, who became the first President of independent India, was rich in unique talents. He was also one of the prominent leaders of the Indian independence movement, who played a prominent role as the President of the Indian National Congress, he also contributed to the formulation of the Indian Constitution which culminated as a republic of India on 26 January 1950. 

Born on 3 December 1884 in the Jiradei area of Bihar, Rajendra Babu inherited the rites from childhood, his father Mahadev Sahay was a Sanskrit and Persian scholar and mother Kamleshwari Devi was a devout woman. For this reason, Rajendra Babu too started learning Persian at the age of 5. After receiving his early education in Chhapra, he earned his doctorate in the field of law from Kolkata.

Even after being married to Rajvanshi Devi at the age of just 13, there was no hindrance in her studies and other work. He made his debut as a lawyer in the Indian independence movement. In 1934, he was elected president at the Mumbai session of the Indian National Congress, after which he took over as Congress President once again in 1939 when Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose resigned from the post of President.

On 26 January 1950, he began serving the country as the first President of independent India with the constitution in force. His term lasted till 14 May 1962. On his retirement in 1962, he was also awarded the best title of 'Bharat Ratna.' He spent his last time at Sadaquat Ashram near Patna. On 28 February 1963, his soul became extinct. This story was about the ideal of Indian values and traditions like a rock. We are proud of them and will always inspire the nation with their ideas.
