Dr. Rajiv Bindal On Friday, filed nomination for the new BJP President in Himachal Pradesh. At the time of nomination, Chief Minister Jairam Thakur and cabinet members were also with him. During this, the second nomination was also filed in the name of Rajiv Bindal. That is why the party is considering it as a single nomination.
According to the media report, the first nomination was signed by Chief Minister Jairam Thakur and all cabinet members. At the same time, the legislator of Shimla parliamentary constituency and the office bearers of the organization are included in the second nomination. The nomination of Dr. Rajiv Bindal was submitted by Chief Minister Jairam Thakur to the election in-charge. The election process will begin at 11 am on January 18 for the new state president. Election incharge Ramswaroop Sharma will formally announce the name of the new state president at 12 noon. Dr. Rajeev Bindal will be crowned as BJP state president on Saturday.
Regarding this nomination, Chief Minister Jairam Thakur said that the party has selected Dr. Rajiv Bindal for the new state president. He has the best wishes from the party and the government. Under his leadership, the party will do better in the coming years and achieve new heights in the state. The Chief Minister thanked Satpal Satti for the work done for the party during his tenure as BJP President. He said that the party has achieved a lot during the tenure of Satpal Satti.
