UDAIPUR: As the Rajya Sabha (RS) elections approach, resort politics has resurfaced, with pictures of Congress MLAs living a lavish life in a five-star hotel in Udaipur going viral.

This is the same hotel where Congress' Chintan Shivir was hosted; however, Congress' concerns appear to be growing, as six Congress MLAs have yet to join the political fence and have missed their Friday deadline.
It is worth noting that the BJP has endorsed Subhas Chandra as its second candidate for the RS seat, which has alarmed the Congress, prompting it to send its MLAs to Udaipur for political fencing.

The thorns in Gehlot's side are ex-BSP MLAs who were photographed on safari in Sariska while Congress MLAs were camping, and their images went viral. In fact, many publicly express their dissatisfaction with the Congress government.

Rajendra Gudha, Rajasthan's Minister of State for Sainik Kalyan, criticised Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Friday, claiming that the latter talks too much and that it would be better for him if he sat down and became "anxious."
He claimed that Congress failed to follow through on a promise made to them. He expressed his displeasure by saying, "It is true that we were not treated with the respect that we deserved. I'm not sure what compelled them to do that. Gehlot sahib is a frequent media commentator. Ajay Maken made a promise to us, but he did not keep it." He remarked in a statement to the media, adding that "Gehlot sahib talks a lot, he does talk a lot, that he has done this, he says so in the media But it would have been better had he sat down and get anxious."
