Ram Gopal Varma is known for his controversial words and social media mockery of celebs and others. With his social media posts, he never fails to amaze his followers. RGV has made the news again, this time for ticket price difficulties. He has raised a significant concern about ticket pricing that are cast in stone. In a series of tweets, he questioned Minister Perni Venkataramaiah (Nani) over the Andhra Pradesh government's movie ticket cap.

On Tuesday, Varma turned to Twitter to ask, "Mr. Perni Nani, Minister of Cinematography, I respectfully urge that you or your agents respond to the following inquiries, sir. What role does the government have in determining the market pricing of any goods, including films, sir?"

"I realise government may interfere and impose a price below or above the equilibrium when there's a critical scarcity of an important product like wheat, rice, kerosene oil, and so on," he said, "but how does that apply to films?"

While the industry remains mute on the subject, RGV asked him, "What specific predicament did you recognise in the current film business scenario sir?" He's also requested that the industry speak up about the problem.
