Renowned TV director Anand Sagar's Ramayana is once again being featured on the Dangal channel, it features Ram Bhakta Hanuman's entry in the upcoming episodes. Also, the unbroken relationship between Ram and Hanuman will be shown. Hanuman's character is very important. Actor Vikram Mustal played the most liked character in the serial Ramayana. Vikram got this role by chance. Vikram told, "I went to the office of Anand Sagar, where the auditions of Ramayana were going on. I thought I would audition for Meghnad's character.

The casting director said, "Give an audition with any script and after reading the script, I said that they were for Hanuman. Also, the channel and production team liked my audition so much that they offered me the role of Hanuman, But I was not sure about my lean body that I would be able to play Hanuman. Rakesh Jain and Shahab Shamshi said that my track will come after 6 months. Till then I should make my body muscular. Since I was new in the industry at that time. Neither did I have the money to go to the gym or buy supplements. Anand Ji himself gave me twenty thousand rupees every month to buy supplements."

Vikram further said, "Anand Ji made sure that I look like Hanuman in 6 months. While his encouragement and his dedication to his work inspired me to build my body and My weight went from 76 kg to 101 kg to play the character of Hanuman". Ramayana is being broadcast on Dangal TV at 7.30 pm and 9.30 am the next day. It is a remake of Ramayana, Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana, in which Gurmeet Chaudhary played Ram and Debina Banerjee played Sita. It was the first broadcast in 2008.
