New Delhi: Political turmoil in Delhi has intensified ahead of a major reshuffle in the Union Cabinet on Wednesday evening. Before adding new names to the cabinet, some old names are being bid farewell. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has been removed from the cabinet. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has reportedly been removed from the Union Cabinet due to ill health. Since he had a corona, his health was not going well, so he is now being removed from the cabinet.

West Bengal MP Deboshree Chaudhary is also expected to be discharged from the Union Cabinet. According to sources, PM Modi has sought the resignation of Deboshree Chaudhary. It is being reported that some new faces from West Bengal may be accommodated in Team Modi. Apart from these two big names, Union Minister Sadananda Gowda is also expected to be discharged from the cabinet. Sadananda Gowda was now the Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers, but now he has been discharged. The decision is believed to have been taken by the party's central leadership amid the ongoing political turmoil in Karnataka.

Union Labour Minister Santosh Gangwar has resigned from his post. Santosh Gangwar is an MP from Bareilly Lok Sabha seat, this time many big faces from UP are being inducted.  Union Minister Thaawarchand Gehlot has already been removed from the cabinet and made governor of Karnataka.
