Amidst the havoc of Corona, Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has said that after taking stock of the situation of the coronavirus in the country, it will decide whether schools and colleges will be opened after April 14. He said that the safety of students and teachers is our first responsibility.

In an interview about this matter, Nishank said that for us the safety of students and teachers is the first and besides this, we will also take full care of it that there is no loss of students' education.

Further in his statement, Human Resource Development Minister Pokhriyal said that it is very difficult to take any decision at this time, on the basis of the situation on April 14, it will be decided whether schools and colleges should be opened or closed for some more time. He further said that the number of students in our country is 34 crore, which is more than the population of America. The student is the biggest treasure of our country, so the safety of students and teachers is an important responsibility for the government. Let us tell you that the lockdown implemented across the country will be abolished on April 21, while it seems that the government is not going to extend the lockdown further. However, before the lockdown in schools and colleges, it was announced to postpone the examinations.
