New Delhi: Tata Motors-owned British automaker Land Rover's Range Rover Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) variant has been introduced in India with a starting price of Rs. 2.62 crore (ex-showroom).
The five trim levels for the full-size luxury off-roader are SE, HSE, Autobiography, First Edition and SV. It is offered in both standard and long wheelbase versions.
The Range Rover has been Land Rover's flagship model since its introduction in 1969. The flagship SUV has produced five generations so far and is gradually changing its reputation from an off-road vehicle with a utilitarian purpose to an ultra-luxury car.

As electrification spreads across the automotive sector, the brand expanded its lineup of SUVs globally by the inclusion of a PHEV model.
With a massive grille with chrome finish, wide air dam, sleek matrix LED headlights with integrated DRLs and a muscular clamshell bonnet, the Range Rover PHEV has a distinctive SUV design language.
The SUV gets designer alloy wheels, flared wheel arches, flush-fitted door handles and ORVMs at both ends. Blacked-out dual shark-fin antennas and vertical LED taillights are available.

The Range Rover PHEV is available with a 3.0-litre, straight-six Ingenium engine, an electric motor and a 38.2kWh battery pack. The system could produce a maximum power of 434 or 503 horsepower. In pure EV mode, the SUV can travel over 100 kms.
Interior features of the Range Rover PHEV include a dual-tone dashboard, premium upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, multi-zone climate control with an air purifier, ambient lighting and a multifunctional steering wheel.
Connectivity options include a 13.1-inch Pivi Pro infotainment screen and a 35-speaker Meridian Signature audio system in the SUV. Multiple airbags and ADAS features guarantee the safety of the passengers.

Range Rover PHEV prices in India start from Rs. 2.62 crore for the base P440e SE model. 4.15 crore (all prices, ex-showroom) for the top-of-the-line P510e SV trim level. The SUV is now available for online or dealership reservations.
