Ranjana Deshmukh is one of the renowned actresses of Maharashtra Industry and Hindi Cnema, The actress Ranjana Deshmukh was born in the year 1955. Ranjana was among the actresses who made the black-and-white era colorful with her all-round acting. She entertained her fans by playing various characters from 1960 to 2000. She entered the film industry at the age of five, acting as a child artist in the film 'Harishchandra Taramati'. At a young age, she won acclaim by playing the lead role in the film 'Asla Navra Nakoga Bai'. 

The Maharastri Diva’s aunt, Sandhya, was married to V. Shantaram, who introduced her to the screen in Chandanachi Choli Ang Ang Jaali (1975). She thenstarred in Shantaram's next film Jhunj in the lead role. Ranjana twice won the state government award for Best Actress was Apart from this, she is also known for her movies like 'Mumbai Cha Faujdar', 'Sushila', 'Gondhalat Ghandal', 'Gupchup Gupchup', 'Bahurupi', 'Bin Kamacha Navra', 'Khichdi' and among others.

Ranjana Deshmukh's career came to an abrupt end in a car accident in 1987 when she was going to Bangalore to shoot for Jhanjhar. Ranjana's legs were paralyzed in the accident. She was previously engaged to Ashok Saraf. After her accident, she was in a play called Fakt Ekdach.
