With 17 cancer care institutions spread across the state, the Assam Cancer Care Foundation, a joint venture of the Government of Assam and Tata Trusts, is working on a mission to develop South Asia's biggest affordable cancer care network. The project's second phase will see the development of seven additional cancer hospitals.
