Lucknow: In a shocking incident, an artist playing the role of Ravan died of a sudden heart attack during the staging of Ramlila in the Ayodhya district. This incident happened during the staging of the Sitaharan episode. This caused chaos among the audience sitting below, including the stage of Ramlila. This is the case of Aihar village present in Rudauli police station of the district.  

In fact, Ramlila has been staged in Navratri for the last 46 years in the Aihar village of Rudauli. For the last 10 years, Patiram of the same village was playing the character of Ravan with full skill. Last Sunday night, when Ravan was planning to seduce Ram-Laxman in a Maya antelope and defeat Sita as a monk himself, Patiram, who was playing the role of Ravana, suddenly fell on the stage. In view of the serious condition, the injured was immediately taken to the hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.  

Recently, a 55-year-old artist who played the role of Hanuman Ji also died during Ramlila's stage practice. The incident was also reported from Salempur village in UP's Fatehpur district. Apart from this, a similar case was seen in Gujarat, when a 20-year-old youth fell on the ground while performing Garba and died. All these cases of death are said to be related to a heart attack. Let me tell you that many people have died due to heart attacks in the last few days.
