Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Seed Group, a company of the Private Office of Sheikh Saeed bin Ahmed Al Maktoum, has appointed Ravi Ranjan, a well-known personality in the entrepreneurship and SME ecosystem in the Indian subcontinent, as Director of Strategic Partnerships to head its India operations. As part of its strategic expansion plans, the Dubai-headquartered Seed Group will be opening its official representative office in the south Indian city of Bangalore. 

In his capacity as the official representative for the Seed Group, Ravi Ranjan will help identify deserving businesses in India that have a product or service conducive to the UAE and Middle Eastern market and are exploring opportunities to expand their operations in the region. Acting as a bridge between India and the UAE opportunities, he will represent the Seed Group and take on various business-focused taskswith an aim to offer entrepreneurs and businesses in India a chance to bring their business to the highly facilitating market of Dubai and theregion. 

Talking about his appointment, Ravi Ranjan said, “I am enthusiastic about the opportunity presented to me. With over a decade of experience advising private and government players in nuances of business and entrepreneurship, Ravi Ranjan is one of the few handpicked emerging leaders from India to be part of the prestigious IVLP program by the USgovernment.

He has managed mega startup initiatives for organisations such as Venture Catalysts, Nasscom 10,000 Startups, Indian Angel Network, Indian Chamber of Commerce, and various state governments in India. An acclaimed TedX speaker, government advisor, and startup expert, Ravi Ranjan will be working towards building a strong India-Middle East business expansion corridor under the guidance and aegis of the Seed Group.
